FAQs
When and where is the January 2026 session taking place?
This winter, our sessions will be held at the Four Points Norwood. Onboarding sessions for 5th and 7th grade teachers take place on Tuesday, January 27th, and the 6th grade Onboarding session is on Wednesday, January 28th.
What should I bring?
Please bring a charged laptop that can access the internet on hotel wi-fi. You will receive printed curriculum materials for Unit 1 at the session.
What will I eat?
We will provide a light breakfast and lunch.
What if I’m coming from far away?
Hotel accommodations will be provided to those who meet the distance requirement and are approved. Please reach out to investigatinghistory@ncee.org if you have any questions.
What are the dates of the Institutes for FY25-26?
June 9-10: Unit 1
August 18-19: Unit 1
October 15-16: Unit 2
January 27-28: Units 3/4
March 24 – 25: Units 4/5
