The five strands include Project Design Workshop, Project America (8th grade social studies), Secondary Science, English Language Arts, and Career Connected Learning. Career Connection is a new program from Educurious that supports schools to transform the education experience into an effective system in which young people learn in meaningful and inspiring ways. The portfolio comprises of six core student experiences that create optimal conditions for an experience for students that will change the trajectory for success in careers, college and life: Virtual Mentoring, Job Shadows, Internships, Informational Interviews, Work Based Problems, and Networking.
Educurious units are built to the Common Core State Standards and Next Generation Science Standards—and are based on research related to how, why, and where people learn.
